Tell Me How I Die (2016)


For low budget standards this was a pretty good & intriguing movie! Pretty good suspense & excitement that built up nicely throughout the movie. The writing was intellectual & psychological which causes you to think a lot, even messes with you at times. It mixes premonitions & time gaps into the story so it can be difficult to follow at times and often makes you wonder if anything is real at all. Often times with time jumping plots such as these you encounter a fair amount of inconsistencies, and this film was no different. But it was an enjoyable ride that led to a fairly predictable finish. IMO it could have used a better resolution. Felt as though the climax required it even though they left you with a big cliffhanger. The acting was good to average with nobody being really that exceptional. It has some typical clichés associated with college-kid characters so don't expect anything great, but I still thought it was a good movie. Felt comparable to the Final Destination movies but better. Definitely had the same target audience (younger crowds). Good theatrics all around with a great secluded setting.

Twists & turns abound... 7.5/10
