Im not sure how old some of you posters are but most players probably have no idea that Nebraska used to mean something.

And Stoops talks a lot of crap. Ill hear announcers say 'we were talking with Stoops about Mizzou's defense and he thinks its overrated.' or 'Stoops said that Franklin isnt any good at QB'. Stoops also picked up DGB after he was proven to be a thug.

Missouri is like Texas in that they like to tout their wins over the worst Nebraska teams in 50 years. It's truly an accomplishment for them.

Pinkel beat Pelini in Bo's first year as a head coach (2008), then lost the last two 2009 and 2010.

Nebraska had a 24 game win streak on them from 1979 - 2002.

2002 was where Nebraska shit the bed and Missouri finally started winning. Thy won 4 times (2003, 2005, 2007, 2008).

Look at the time frame though. The 2000's were by far the worst years of Nebraska football in recent memory. From 1962 when Bob Devaney took over at Nebraska, Missouri is 12-36. For 24 straight years from 1979 to 2003, they lost every game, then won 4 of the next 6. We currently hold a 2 game win streak from 2009-present. I think it's fair to say they only beat us when we were bad.
