And here is the one that Schmoopy1000 has been waiting for: Simona will be driving at Andretti for the season opener at St. Pete. It's just a one race deal so far, but both sides sound like they're trying to make it for more.

Sweet. Hope they can turn it into more. isn't this the best equipment/team backing she has raced in/with?

FINALLY some word from Dale Coyne Racing on their driver line-up. Carlos Huertas will be back for a full season, with occasional IndyCar starter Francesco Dracone taking the 2nd car for (at least) the first four events of the season.

Meanwhile, Justin Wilson has no ride - for now. :(

I saw that Indy. Fairly strange. What, does Mikey not trust her to do well or is he trying to add yet another car to the mix?

It's gotta be a PR nightmare for IndyCar. The first race was littered with yellow flags and winglets and this one was won buy a guy who pitted once and ran 80% of the laps under caution.

And they say F1 is the boring series.

I wonder how long before they ditch this aero kit for road and street courses? It seems incredibly fragile.

I don't see them ditching the aero kits anytime soon - After all, it took three years to get to the point of allowing them! They'll muddle through while they look for ways to strengthen them.

The race at NOLA was a complete joke because they tried to run in the rain with drivers who apparently had little experience doing so. Wrecks galore, off-the-track cautions aplenty, and people in the pit getting run over, along with rules violations out the wazoo. It was like the drivers suddenly decided to do everything but race in adverse conditions and they forgot everything if they knew at all. They took a step back with that race.
