Yea I saw that Indy. Andretti Autosport cars in Busch, Munoz, Hinchcliffe, and Marco were tagged and there was no mention of Hunter-reay's engine mainlt because his engine was not swapped out like the others. Close but I think Hunter-Reay's win will be safe.

I saw the Hunter-Reay selection. I saw that Panther racing assets being auctioned off as well. I think the series is in trouble because viewership whether at the track or on T.V. continues to decline. This is just a symptom of a mismanaged series and the state of our economy. When races start having just 15-20 cars qualify, the death of the series is just around the corner because race fans just don't have the money they used to have..

Of course ANY arm/wrist injury is one too many, but I didn't realize that it was a big enough of an 'issue' for IndyCar to address specifically.

No races this week-end in F-1 or the IRL. With three left in the IRL, the race for the trophy is indeed heating up. I like the new lights car Indy. Looks like a mini-F-1 car. Tag Heuer ought to help with bucks to keep the series clipping along. Maybe they turn this thing around as NASCAR continues to decline.

I think the IRL should give up on returning to Brazil. Add NOLA, Iowa, Providence R.I. and they should definitely include Road America. It's a great track, it does get supported, and it is a big track that makes for great racing. The IRL should really stick with the ovals and the road courses even it means losing Texas, Houston, and Pocono. These races are just not supported like the others.

I saw that Indy. The small teams trying to keep up with the Penske's, Rahal's and Andretti's. The rumor has Andretti signing Pagenaud for a fifth team next year. If that happens, the rich get richer.

IndyCar confirms that there will be a race on the new, thirteen turn permanent road course near New Orleans on their schedule, starting next year (April 12 to be precise):
