He is a winner of Super BowlS
Didn't you always feel though that he kind of lucked into those Super Bowls a little? Those Super Bowl teams were only 9-7 and 10-6 those years. Five of the eight wins in the playoffs were by 4 points or less. Point is they were never a dominating team.
His teams usually believe in themselves and can beat anyone. They beat the 18-0 Patriots by playing a better football game than them.Didn't you always feel though that he kind of lucked into those Super Bowls a little? While true...it happened twice and they played big when the stakes were the highest.Didn't you always feel though that he kind of lucked into those Super Bowls a little? Nope.So I am in agreement that it is Pederson most likely, so I finally decided to read up on him a little.
- Career backup QB. Played behind some of the greats. Career 62.3 rating.
- Coached High School for several years.
- Coaching career has all been under one guy...Andy Reid.
- 2 years as a QB coach. 3 Years as an Offensive Coordinator.
- At KC, his offensive has went from being ranked 22nd, to 25th to 27th in total yards.
- At Philly, his passing offenses were ranked 9th then 13th. He coached Mike Vick and Nick Foles.
- Both Vick and Foles had much better years in 2013 without Pederson than in 2012 with him.
- Vick's best year as an Eagles was in 2010, the year before Pederson took over as QB coach, while we was still an assistant.
Is there anything that even hints at anything more than a journeyman coach?
Nope.
Thanks and I was about to mention this exactly.Coughlin coached the expansion jaguars to the AFC Championship game knocking off Jim Kelly and John Elway on the road in consecutive playoff games. Dude can coach football.
