Right, but you should care about your head coach... He's a big part of the "pieces"

While I'd be fine with Joseph I can't lie, I've been 10x more impressed over the years with Shanahan's Offenses than I have with Joseph's Defenses.

If JE knows that we can't keep Wade, then I completely understand and accept the movement towards Vance.

He has a Wade pedigree. He has history with the Dline coach (same staff).
He runs a similar attacking style.
He could maintain the defense with minor tweaks.

My problem is that doing this doesn't really address the elephant (or lack thereof) in the room. Our defense was good enough to win a Superbowl - again.

The offense was lacking along the Oline, the running game (injuries noted), and consistency in the passing game.

Vance better be able to bring in a McCoy in this case, or he's going to have issues keeping up with the standards the front office expects.

I am a D minded guy. I feel successful coaches have come more so in this era from D minded guys then O minded guys. trend of young O cords failing in their first attempt in the NFL.. I have my concerns with any coach, and not one coach has me screaming "THIS IS THE GUY", but I think Vance Joseph is the best coach for us. I love what he has done with very little to work with... I'm all in. Not a Kyle Shanahan fan, but if he is the guy I will give him a chance.

Hearing that Sean McDermott will probably be named HC for Bills tomorrow.

Looks like Jason will be calling Mayflower.

If that's true any chance we give Lynn an interview? And if Wade does leave I wouldn't mind Gus Bradley as DC.

It sounds like to me that Mike McCoy as the OC of the Bills is very possible.

So many rumors though.

Did anyone else sorta get the feeling when we hired Kubiak, that he was to come in to wrap up the Peyton Manning era and be the final stamp.. I sorta had the feeling he may not be our coach real long. I am not sure he came in and did what we wanted him to do by adding in the run game, but he did push us over the Super Bowl hump thanks to the great D, which is all that matters. We got it.
