Is Iguodala going to get his number retired? If so, why didn’t they announce it when he was traded?

Good point. I said I think it's probable that the Warriors retire the jerseys of the entire Hamptons Five, but it's not a sure thing. I think Iguodala probably should get his jersey retired, but out of the Hamptons 5, he ranks as the fifth guy. There was also speculation that the team didn't like Andre saying that the team said he just had a bruise when he had a broken bone.

For those saying this is dumb:

Please find another player in the history of the NBA with 2 Finals MVPs in 1 city who doesn’t have his number retired there.

I get he was there 3 years and the team was really good without him. But if the Warriors want to retire his number, he earned it.

So did Klay, Curry, Draymond and Iggy.

Who I suspect will all get their due in time.
They are not rental players. I said bullshit and I meant bullshit

i do have to say i think the Warriors retiring Durants jersey makes more sense than the Heat retiring Michael Jordan's number....now that is fucking the height of stupidity

Well we aren’t going to agree, I was just wondering if more would be apt to support it, I think maybe. I remain a no though for all it’s worth lol.
Collison with the Thudner is a great example

Anderson Varejao deserves it with the Cavs more so than Durant with the Warriors
Actually the Warriors should retire Varejao's number
He was a legend here.

he Miami Heat picked an unlikely player as their first retired jerseynumber, hoisting Jordan's No. 23 to the rafters even though Jordannever played for the Heat. Team president Pat Riley honored Jordan on April 11, 2003, before Jordan's Washington Wizards played the Heat.

Is that true? is the first number retired in Heat history realy fucking michael jordan? LOL .....i didnt know that. That is fucking stupid.

Well then my hopes of the Celtics retiring MY number seems just as likely. I didn't do shit there either
i have no idea. its one of the dumbest things i have ever seen.

I mean, if the league wants to retire it- yah- whatever, at least i would understand that to a certain extent

but the Heat just randomly deciding, ya know what? lets retire Michael Jordan's number? And on top of that it being the first number retired from what i just read in teh history of the team?

humiliating
