Germany winning eliminates Ghana from the tournament save a miracle. Ghana winning keeps them in the hunt and facing a depleted Portugal team on short rest. This is a problem if the US tie Portugal.

We need Germany to win. It opens up way more doors and scenarios where we can get in

- Ghana loses and we tie tomorrow and we're in (unless Portugal wins by a huge margin against Ghana in their third game and we lose by a huge margin against Germany in our third game)

- We lose tomorrow and lose to Germany by 1 goal each, but Ghana loses to Germany today but wins against Portugal and we're in

- We win tomorrow and we're in no matter what

Ghana are trying to press Germany high and counter quickly. Problem is, they leave themselves wide open when they do and Germany are much sharper with their passing. Especially picking the long ball over the top.
