Imagine how bad it would have been for the Dodgers if they would have faced Bum and Cain in this series...

They faced our 3, 4, 5 and could not muster a fucking run.

DOMINANCE!!!!

I wonder if Keith Law still thinks the trade of J. Sanchez for Melky "makes little to no sense, and closer to the latter."

hehehe:

I don't really understand either team's motivation to make this deal, but if I have to choose one side, it's Kansas City's.

Haha. I was wondering when someone would bring that up. In before "it's only mid season!"

Yeah. Talk of NL West Coronations get the same treatment until September. Either way, the Dodgers will now know how it feels to be without their two best position players for an extended period of time. It's amazing what kind of difference that makes... especially for a team with absolutely no depth, like they are.

Yes indeed!! Minute 12 on the championship dvd.

In all seriousness, though, a shut-out sweep is fucking HUGE!!!!

In a rivalry series? Fugetaboutit...

Best GDT I can remember, thanks. I was listening to Vin etal, while delivering mail in the hills of Brentwood, with a smile on my face all friggin day!

Could be, but Romo rarely goes more than a couple hitters. He is our ROOGY.

Only needed 11 pitches to get 4 outs. And he got out of the 8th with 1 pitch. Easy decision.

Something like 13 dominating innings in a row. Certainly a good start...
They certainly weren't all 1-2-3 shut down innings, but with no blow ups it seems Tim could well be on his way back. Maybe he's back to eating those 3 Whopper meals for lunch again.

Oh and it was Ethier's oblique. These can keep you out for a long while.

Aw c'mon. You don't think they will be in it to the end with Kemp back and whoever they pick up?

It took some time but he is getting confident again, learning to pitch without the ++ velocity. Really good to see.

Not to be Debbie Downer but he did do it vs the weak hitting As and the weaker hitting injury riddled Dodgers...we'll know he's really back when he shuts down some good lineups. But these games were perfect for him to get back on the horse.

And there it is! Man this team is really coming together right about now. Even hitting with RISP.

Helps to play your rival when their best hitters are hurt.
Injuries the key as always. We are relatively quite healthy so far this year.

We do not agree.
