Game #7 Atlanta Falcons vs Patriots

This game was expected to be the 'Game of the Year' when the schedule was released back in June. The League purposefully scheduled it for a Sunday Night so that the Super Bowl could be re-fought.

Two problems::::::::::::::::::::

1. The Patriots have a ton of injuries and don't look like the team that came back from 25 points down to win Super Bowl LI in overtime.

2. The Falcons did everything they could to shore up the defense that gave up 31 straight points to see a Super Bowl victory slip away. The Falcons lost their Super Bowl offense and Super Bowl hero Julio Jones is lost.


The winner will be the team that makes less mistakes than the other team....

Falcons have been struggling on offense lately... the NE defense is just what the doctor ordered. They've given up 300+ yards passing to every schmuck they've gone against.

Well the D started to meld a little last week hopefully that trend continues. Cooks knows this team well so I suspect he may have a big game. I sure don't have the warm fuzzies about this. But Gronk looked great last week with Cooks having and edge and Gronk playing like Gronk I think we take it. 712-11

Atlanta won their first three games against @Chicago, Green Bay and @Detroit.

Then they lost two home games against the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins. The Falcons couldn't score more than 17 points against either. Now they play two road games against New England and next week against the Jets.

In both losses to the Bills and Dolphins, the Falcons' offense couldn't score in the second half. I don't know if that's because their defense was on the field for most of the second half and the offense didn't get much opportunity or some other reason.

I don't think this will be a repeat of the Super Bowl.

I know the Falcons offense is struggling. Nothing like the Patriots 2017 defense to bring them out of that slump. Like it was stated earlier, I think the team who has it last wins. Fingers crossed it’s us!

Unfortunately, I think your right. JJ and their TE have a huge game. NE has no answer for an athletic TE and JJ, well JJ is JJ. He's overdue for a big game this year.

This game means no more to me than our last two games. We cannot redeem ourselves or get revenge or whatever the stupid hype is. I'm DVRing it so I can skip over all the endless rehashing of the Super Bowl. I'm not going to lie, if the Falcons had won I watch every minute with glee. Hope it's a good game. Hope the Falcons win but it's just another regular season game.
