Right, but it wasn't called a TD on the field. So it was up to Campbell to challenge it.

I rolled it back and it was very close. I wasn't able to freeze it at the exact moment his knee hit the ground though.

Wright was close to the goal line and DC should've challenged the ball placement by the line judge. There is a big difference placing the ball at the one-yard line versus 8"-12" away from the goal line. Goff might've been able to run a QB sneak versus J-Will running.

Okudah played like a man on fire today. He was exceptional most of the day releasing from his WR to stop a run play that wasn't really assignment.

(2) The dead-ball spot is not reviewable to determine solely whether it should be closer to or further from the goal line.

A look at the reviewable plays section of the NFL rulebook notes that with spotting of the ball, only two things are subject to a potentially successful challenge.

ARTICLE 4. PLAYS GOVERNED BY THE GOAL LINE.
Item 1. Ball breaking the plane of the goal line. Whether any part of the ball broke the plane of the goal line while in player possession and before the ball should have been declared dead.
ARTICLE 7. PLAYS GOVERNED BY THE LINE TO GAIN. The dead-ball spot is reviewable to determine whether it was short of, at, or beyond the line to gain.

I thought they played pretty damn well today. Liked what I saw out of some of the young guys (Okudah, Joseph, Hutch, Pachal).
