I'll believe it when I see it, but that'd be amazing.

Will Fuller plans to return to Notre Dame for senior season
I agree, I want to trust the kid and believe what he is saying but if ND wins it all and right now he is a 1st rd pick why would he come back. Only thing left is his degree and a chance to go down as the best WR ever at ND. I know those 2 things are big but I just don't see it.

Don't get me wrong it would be awesome if he came back. Offense would be Top 5 next year. Our whole offensive weapons would be back. Oline would be a little different but we are loaded at the Oline.

The man wants his degree and I applaud it. I guess Kelly is recruiting the right ND kind of kids. This year Stanley and Day and now Fuller.

I'll try not to get too excited until it's 100% official, but I'm not terribly surprised. I also wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't the only ND potential early round pick to return, especially if ND comes up short on making the CFB playoff or if they make it and don't win the NC. I think this is a special group that has overcome a lot together, they seem to really like each other and want to accomplish some special things at ND.

GO IRISH! ONWARD TO VICTORY!

Just saw this. Wow.

To say I'm pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. I thought for sure he'd be gone. Wonder if he's 'talking' to Jaylon, too? :)

Imagine that OMG. We would have to be a Top 3 team next year. We would have 2 good QB's, 3 headed monster at RB, and All those WRs.

i agree with the op. believe it when it happens. degrees can easily be delayed if he really wants it. it'd be hard to turn down something as a first round pick.

IDK call me crazy, but I think he means it. It seems these kids BK is bringing in really want to be at ND. Not someone who wants to just get his name out there. These kids really want to be here, and that makes a difference. These kids are smarter too. They see what is happening in the NFL. I can leave early, get hurt or I can stay one more yr, get a degree and play for the best......His talent is known. Good job young man!!

The one thing that might be helping is the new rookie scale doesn't pay you as much as it use to, not that it isn't a bunch of money still but not the mega deals guys use to get.

I agree with you. He is bringing in the right guy of players. He is building this program. If Smith stays I might go crazy. This team will be sick next year. Im also hearing that Kizer will be the starter next year because of his relationships he built with his offensive players. Kelly kind of hinted at it at his last presser. He basically said it will be tough to over take Kizer. He has the leadership, more experience and trust of the players and he is winning and putting up great numbers. We might have ourself an OSU issue at QB.

I remember the old days when backups accepted their role as backup and worked hard to get their chance to prove to be worthy of a starter role. I know the old saying about players not losing their job to injury but I remember a day when their was loyalty to the school and football program for the scholarship they were granted. Not every player wants to pack his bag and run when asked to compete.

If MZ was a establish starter then yeah he might get his spot back after an injury but Kizer is the one with more experience and has a full year of chemistry with these guys. Kizer is now the Vet and MZ is still the rookie. I just don't see Kizer losing his spot. He has been Top 3 QB in the country this year. Now I do think MZ can have a role with this team. They can have a package for him.

I think next year would be Zaire's last year after he got his degree and play a 5th year else where.
