IF USC got slammed for a bucks going to a family, surely this COVERUP merits far stiffer penalties these days at FSU.

We may be viewing the "Last Stand @ Little Big Horn" these days in Tallahassee boys...enjoy the ride this year. Swans are a singing now.

NCAA hasn't done anything thus far. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Well they don't need anything but a report to punish by. Trust me, I know.

This is worse than a lack of institutional control. The institution covered up and muddied the r*pe of a woman so they could keep an athlete on the field. They need to gut that place.

Where have I heard this story from before?

Oh yeah, last spring in EugenoLand during CB basketball season. Almost identical in nature, but different sports.

No one is clean here for sure. Cost the UO current Pres at the time his job.

Heads will roll that's for sure.

More cliff notes:

-Police told FSU, and FSU made sure Winston got a lawyer, before the prosecutor even heard about the case.

-FSU and Winston's lawyer prepped witnesses before they were interviewed by police.

-FSU ran PR interference to keep reporters from breaking the story.

-FSU hid the incident from the Title IX coordinator.

wow, if that's true...burn 'em to the ground

1)People are allowed to lawyer up without talking to anybody before they are actually charged with something

2)None of this changes the fact that, according to Meggs, there was insufficient evidence, Meggs said the "victims" story kept changing

3)Reporters breaking the story doesn't change evidence, which you know, is usually needed to charge somebody

4)They want to keep pointing to the fact that FSU was ranked #1 and Winston was a Heisman candidate, but that doesn't go back to January 2013 when he was first identified

4)I don't know what happened and neither do you guys, and neither does Fox Sports or the NYT

This case is very deserving of the Death Penalty. Of course, Auburn will ultimately win Natties for the next few years with the flood of refuse from Free Shoes U.

Waiting for the manager to spin this.

Yep. He's been the biggest homer supporter of the rapist since this started

Let me give both of you a big

This is the exact same thing that the NYT article posted. So again you nor I know what really happened. This is not breaking news. It is purely rehashing what was already written in April. Still at the same exact place we were then. Speculation.
