And he may be more rough defensively behind the plate than Bart. The Pirates' catching corp got thinned out dramatically in the last month. They chose to let Ali Sanchez walk. Is Killian hurt? He hasn’t made an appearance yet this year.

And yikes. Since joining the Cubs, he really has been hot garbage. He has made appearances in the show, but those have been disastrous and his AAA numbers have not been impressive in the slightest. I really thought he was going to be the one who made us hate that trade. So far, not so much.

Yes he is injured and he looks to be out for awhile. MLBTR reported in March that he was diagnosed with a teres major strain and the recovery time would be a few months.
