interesting that rivals has scheel at 4 and markel at 3, scout is just the vice versa on that...scouting systems that can't agree, oh well, this is why they hire good coaches, come in as anything and leave as a 5 star should be our new slogan

Let me know when you clean your blinders. Iowa will have an unproven QB, fragile RBs, unproven WRs, and solid TEs. The D-Line is still in development. The secondary looks like it is close. Iowa's LBs have the most experience but will have to support the line and secondary -- until the unit develops into a quality defense.

The last time KF had to decide on a QB we were treated to a battle between Christensen and Stanzi that could have lasted for 12 games. Remembering that year, now we probably know why KF didn't want to have to pull JVB last year.

Now, KF has 3 QBs to pick from for this year. How many games will it take to pick one? And what happens when the one doesn't perform? Personally, I believe Ruddock will be the starter - all season.

Probably not happy with the current punter. Kornbrath - at 6'6'' and 240...maybe he gets moved to TE? Or to the O-Line??

Sounds this punter a stud (if you can say that about a punter) and would be a plug and play. Hawkeye might be right about Cornbreath. He's young and has size, maybe they are looking to convert him?

So were sitting at 19 commits and have been for a while. Anyone know of any other realistic targets? I know Ross Reynolds, OL from Waukee is probably going to commit.

I read the same. For what it's worth, Rivals has us at 53rd nationally and 9th in the B1G. Personally, recruiting rankings mean nothing to this Hawkeye fan (that would probably change if we had a Top 10 class. Lol).

Just got our 20th commit today from DC area Safety Miles Taylor. He's a 3-star that had offers from Georgia Tech, UMass and Temple. 6', 185lbs.

I saw Ross Reynolds also committed, OL, no stars on this kid but a good in state pickup, Taylor is not totally confirmed from what I hear but he was committed to GA Tech. We still look to be in the running for a few others, hard to say what will happen, but signing day is coming up quickly.
