I’m hearing the Giants are relieving Gabe Kapler of managerial duties, announcement imminent.

The Diamondbacks haven't clinched. Not sure why people think that. They're in the WC2 and 0.5 up on Miami and 2 up on both Cincy and Chicago. Miami AND Cincy both own the tiebreaker over Arizona. Cincy loss OR AZ win tomorrow clinches for DBacks.

Mr Playoffs:The Arizona Diamondbacks have NOT clinched an NL playoff spot. And they will not clinch before the start of Saturday’s game versus the Astros. However, the Reds vs Cardinals game begins 55 minutes prior to Astros vs Arizona. And if Reds lose - DBacks clinch.

Hmm, I truly didn’t know the actual tie breaker stuff. All of the podcasts I listen to said they clinched if the Cubs lost. Who knows cause I know they are confused with the AL West tiebreaker.

Mr Playoffs:So Yes, if M’s win & Astros lose tomorrow AND Mariners win Sunday, the Astros can HELP the Mariners win the AL West by winning their game.In that scenario - M’s fans will smile either way. Astros win to send M’s to division title OR lose to be eliminated
