Don’t get your hopes up. My predictions from Jerry’s mouth

-They don’t get Ohtani but claim they made a very competitive offer
-They sign a 4 OF cause Canzone and Marlowe both earned themselves a chance to start. Which something like this will be said when they bring up Bellinger. Plus evidently Moore is an OF now
-They will sign a couple of bullpen arms we’ve never heard of
-Ray coming back is why they didn’t get another (which I actually agree with)
-And finally, we think a full season of Murphy and Moore is a big offensive upgrade (much like the Lewis and Haniger quote from a few years back)


On paper the entire 26 man is set except for 3 bullpen arms. But he should be trying to upgrade every offensive position except for Julio, JP and Cal. The offense sucking for the first 4 months killed the season.

Yeah it is a fluke for sure. But they have had 3 straight years of a month fluke. Which inflates their record at the end of the year so they just go into the next season thinking if the players just get 1 or 2 more wins they are contenders.

You need to build what you think is a 100 win team so even in the dissapointing 90+ win seasons you are still a post season contender

Lots of clubs consistently doing just that, which is why October baseball has a bunch of familiar faces on the fields
