Male 1 – Ari Gold – Entourage

Male 2 – Norm Peterson - Cheers

Female 1 – Leslie Knope – Parks and Recreation

Female 2 – Thelma Harper – Mama’s Family

Child – Carlton Banks – Fresh Prince of Bel Air

Non-human – Scooby-Doo – Scooby-Doo

Flex 1 – Dr. John Becker - Becker

Flex 2 – Roy Biggins - Wings

Flex 3 – Dr. Bob Kelso - Scrubs

Flex 4 – Dr. Krieger – Archer

I have 3 doctors, one “politician”, a talking dog, three people in the waiting room (Thelma Harper, Norm Peterson and Roy Biggins) and Carlton dancing in the background!

That is one hell of a private practice.
Damn! Krieger was on my list of possibilities in the last round! Good pickup to cap your draft.

Thought for sure you'd be researching famous Texas Tech alumni to go out with a bang.

I didn't want to draft multiple people from the same show, because even though that was within the rules, it just seemed like cheating. I have no idea why I felt that way though, since it makes no sense.
Well, I feel the same way. But I think we all have different rules we're adhering to in or own little universes.

If an animated character interacts with real-life characters, does that have to be acknowledged, or are they just characters? What's more important, storyline or funniest cast? Is it PPR? Everybody's going to take it differently.

I have a similar thing in mind for Stewie.

And I assume if the same character appears on two shows, the character can only be drafted once. Right?

I don't have a plot.........................lol.
Gotcha covered:

The series revolved initially around the life of the Harper brothers Charlie (Charlie Sheen) and Alan (Jon Cryer), and Alan's son Jake (Angus T. Jones). Charlie is a bachelor who writes commercial jingles for a living while leading a hedonistic lifestyle. When Alan's wife Judith (Marin Hinkle) decides to divorce him, he moves into Charlie's Malibu beach house, with Jake coming to stay over the weekends. Charlie's housekeeper is Berta (Conchata Ferrell), a sharp-tongued woman who initially resists the change to the household, but grudgingly accepts it. Charlie's one-night stand Rose (Melanie Lynskey) was first introduced as his stalker in the pilot episode.

Nice work Face!

Has anyone kept track of dual actors?
I think there are 5?
  • Julia Louise-Dreyfus (Seinfeld and Veep)
  • Ted Danson (Cheers and Becker)
  • Jerry Stiller (King of Queens and Seinfeld)
  • Danny DeVito (Taxi and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia)
  • Tim Allen (Home Improvement and Last Man Standing)
Add Mary Tyler Moore for her own show plus Dick Van Dyke.

With only a half dozen picks left or so, hopefully it w9nt be an issue to have the character drafted only once. How many Lou Grants, Rhodas, or Laverne DeFazzios do you need?

If I can, I'm taking one. If not, I'll go a different direction.

Because it's characters we're drafting, I figure it's a no-no to take the same one twice.

I didn't either. Toyed with different ideas.
Channeled my inner Foot and Milk for some off-the-wall scenarios.
Realized most of my characters had something in common. That helped with a plot.

I drafted magic, so I have a built in Reason for animated characters in my plot..
I'm treating Homer like a normal character ignoring that he's animated. It's not like any sitcom characters are REAL anyway.

That's the gist of my comment as well.
