I'm really having a hard time deciding my non human......................I have a couple I really like but one is from a sitcom maybe 5 of youse guise have even seen and the other 2 were in limited roles...............dammit! Scoobie Doo was a great pick IMO..............

Well, the fact that no ones heard of them hasn't seemed to stop anyone else ......

In the five days I've been waiting to pick, I've been wondering, can I cut someone now and pick another character?


Or do I have to wait and do that when we're done?

That made me laugh...............very hard..........and loud. That was extremely funny. Nice one!

As to using the wire, I'm not sure what the decision was TBH.

My understanding was free agents would fall into the same time-frame as trades. ..... as in, 3 days following the draft. ... what wasn't clarified was how - first come, first served I suppose. ...

1) Must be a 30-minute sitcom character (list show and/or actor if obscure). Any era.
2) Snake draft with a 16 hours max per pick. Here on the Hoop.
3) Must draft 2 males, 2 females, 1 child, 1 non-human (animal or thing), 4 flex
(We'll try to go 10 rounds.)
4) Trades are allowed within 3 days once the draft is complete.

I feel your pain, Sam. I actually did think of Scooby, but he may be hard to fit in my story. I still have a couple in mind and I think I am leaning one way. But that may change when we get to my pick.

Kind of how you try to avoid Broncos players in our drafts?

Cliff Claven was the character I was talking about a few pages back that I was very surprised was not taken yet. I figured him to be a 1st rounder.

Easy to fit into almost any storyline.

Man, I like my team as I was able to get my favorite characters fer the most part. There are a few left that I can't believe have not been drafted yet (including some I was targeting but went a different rout). If we really are gonna be working the wire, I'll wait fer 3 days to name drop.

If i have a bench pick, i would pick jason alexander's second roll... and i am pretty sure Jon Lovitz will have 2 by the end of the draft...

Ted Danson has 3, I drafted him as the Demon Architect on The Good Place as well.

I ended my draft with Mike Baxter from Last Man Standing. One of the only red characters amidst a sea of blue and very funny. And Mary Richards from the Mary Tyler Moore show because even though that show was a little before my time, I've watched reruns from it and it's hilarious. I'm not even sure she's the funniest character, but she's certainly the most iconic and I felt like she should be drafted. Here's where my lineup ended up:

Male 2 - Chandler Bing - Friends
Female 1 - Roseanne Conner - Roseanne
Female 2 - Carla Tortelli - Cheers
Child - Zach Morris - Saved by the Bell
Non-Human - Michael the demon architect - The Good Place
Flex 1 - Rodney Ruxin - The League
Flex 2 - Dan Fielding - Night Court
Flex 3 - Mike Baxter - Last Man Standing
Flex 4 - Mary Richards - The Mary Tyler Moore Show

I didn't want to draft multiple people from the same show, because even though that was within the rules, it just seemed like cheating. I have no idea why I felt that way though, since it makes no sense. I'm very happy with this roster as everybody I drafted made me laugh out loud at their respective shows.

That is one hell of a private practice.
