I watched Falling Skies for two seasons until they just kept putting new aliens in the mix. Even the original aliens kept coming up with new shit...no real plot to that show.

The acting is so bad and forced, Spielberg should never have gotten involved with that embarrassment.

Not the greatest pilot in the history of pilots, but it had some promise. The ending was good.

I REALLY don't like the main druggie kid. I hope they have something planned for him, because right now, they have made him very unlikable.

This is made by Kirkman, so I will certainly watch at least the full first season, but it will need to improve if it wants to go farther than 2 seasons.

I liked it. I thought it was a bit slow but I understand why. I think this show will creep me out far more than the original series. The unknown illness, mass hysteria, and the breakdown of society will be scary to see.

The 2nd causality should be the one banging his Mom. A school teacher who has a druggie tell him "I saw junkies killing and eating each other in an old dilapidated church we use to shoot up" and his instinct was to go check it out, alone, with nothing but a flashlight.

I dont get this. He was walking around like Charlie Chaplin. And just wearing that shirt at the beginning shows he has no input into the character (either that, or he did not over-rule it's inclusion).

Lol so he was a bad actor because he didn't argue his wardrobe? The guy is a strung out heroin addict the attire made sense.

He had by far the toughest role to portray in the pilot and if you don't see that idk what to tell you. He nailed playing a addict currently high and did so without any character development to play off of as it was the first episode.
