Wouldn't be much of an upset for the Wentz-less Eagles to beat the Falcons, however winning a game beyond that would be a big upset IMO.

We got lucky getting to face ATL. This was our best case situation imho. If we manage to win this game, I would much rather face NO than MIN tho. And if we can get past that... I would rather face PITS in a PA SB. But my guess is, it would be a 2004 repeat.

I agree with you, except I think if we make it to the SB, we can beat anyone coming out of the AFC. NE and PIT both teams filled with too much drama and distractions, could be ripe for the picking to upset. The team that worries me the most is Minnesota. But we have to get by ATL first, they're playing very well right now.

Yes I'm thinking the D has what it takes, with the time off to study, heal and refresh they will take the game in their hands and out of Foles. I believe we hold ATL to 10 points or there abouts and we score 13 or 30. What we score today indicates what is possible in the next game and beyond.

_phillies_ raised the prospect of Sudfeld playing if Foles struggles early. I am saying I doubt that happens.

Realistically, if Foles can't hack it today, we're likely dead. But who's to say Matt Ryan won't have an off day. Anyway, an inexperienced long shot like Sudfeld can't be totally ruled out. He did show some skill at 19 for 23, 134 yds, 82.6 rating vs DAL on that frigid, cold day. Here's the best years of their lives:
