I read the article and couldn't find a single thing of note beyond "ESPN has a financial interest to protect the NFL" which applies to Fox Sports, ProfootballTalk, and every other news sources that makes their profits from NFL games.

Again. So what? Why is this so egregious?

Because it seems to me that if ESPN were really trying to protect the NFL and hurt the Patriots they would have released this story BEFORE the ruling.
