Milk I am good with it.

If you want to weigh it more towards starters change W and L to starter W and starter L. It does away with the reliever that blows a save only to have his team take the lead back and he gets a win. That allows us to do away with IP.

But it also takes away from the RP that deserves the win... Honestly, with IP being a half category, I don't really have a problem with it... and actually kind of like it...

As I said I don't like IP, but I can go with it. Let's move on to the next thing.

O.k. I got my wife to put my shoulder back into socket ready to move on.:lol:

I gave my proposal for roster already... just waiting on responses...

I am sure though that it wont be a long discussion...

I do want to know if anyone thinks we should go with a 2 catcher league...

No to two catchers. I was in a keeper league that had two catchers and people would run with only one from time to time.

I am in a 2 catcher dynasty/keeper(who knows the difference sometimes)... I like it but catchers are just like TE, they are statistically boring... why suffer to own 2 when all it does is makes a certain few more valuable...

Yea, we will do roster size:
my original Proposal

Starting lineup is:

C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, 4 OF, CF, 2 U = 14

3 SP, 2 RP, 4 P=9

Bench= 6 players
Minors= 10 players

Total 39 players

Change the 4OF and 1 CF to one of the following

5 OF
2 OF, RF, CF, LF

Other than that looks good to me.

But look at my proposal, add any ideas you may have... I want to get to the next step quicker as we really need to start this draft soon...

you know, i was going to do LF and RF, but felt they are the majority of the OF anyway(and not much skill differentiation)... CF is the fun one...

I mean, aren't most RFs eligible at LF and vice versa...

2 catchers would mean we are owning at least 24 catchers through out the league. That means someone is forced to start Matt Weiters all the time.

What i would rather do is CF, corner OF, 3 OF

Ok CF, 2 Corner OF, 2 OF.

I am in a hockey league where last year it was 12 forwards. They switched it up this year to 4 Centers, 4 LW, 4 RW. It makes a big difference the more specific you are.

Why wouldn't you just have a starting 9? Position players, and one Utility?

I agree... and i am fine with 2 COF... i do think COF is better than specific positions for LF,RF... But CF is really the one i care about...

if we get more people then of course we can change the starting roster size, but with 12, it would be too shallow of a legue to have only 9 starters... and part of the fun of a dynasty/empire is to have depth.. it is important...

Sell it? I doubt it... unless restrictions are customized, it's tough to sell without help. In my money league, it is 15 teams, but we can start a DH or a 2nd C. 12 teams or less makes it much easier that's for sure.

There are about 12-18 startable options eligible at DH going into this season. Others can obtain the eligibility in-season. So it's not like the options aren't there.

The biggest proponent of it though, just retired, as getting Ortiz in the 5th or later was just stupid. Victor the last few years was also great value. How much higher are you willing to draft Nelson Cruz if we had a DH? ....yeah, it makes a difference. To me, it's a good difference.

Pujols... not excited if he is my 1B. Contently satisfied if he is my DH, etc.
