OK... here is where i am now with pitching

the full categories- ERA, H/IP, BB/9, K, QS

the Half categories- S+H, IRS, W,L , HR, IP

now H/IP, BB/9, and ERA are all non Biased categories

QS, K, W, IP are SP dominant stats

S+H, IRS, L, HR are RP dominant

that is now a 3-2 advantage to SP
and 3 Non biased(although ratios do tend to lean towards RP)

Does anyone have a problem with this scoring?? @jwolt92 , @Chef99 , @molsaniceman , @TKOSpikes , @DHoey , @obxyankeefan , @bksballer89 , @TJL , @broncosmitty , @redseat

Offense:
FULL categories- BA, XBH, SB, K, Runs, BB
Half Categories- SB%, HR, RBI, GIDP

Pitching:

the full categories- ERA, H/IP, BB/9, K, QS

the Half categories- S+H, IRS, W,L , HR, IP

I think I got the balance good between the 3 types of hitters(speed, Power, and average) and the balance between SP and RP... I know many have a problem with IP as a category, but we had to find a SP only category to give the edge back...

I like IRS- inherited runs stranded- as it is an actual RP performance stat... Wish we could have used IRS% but that was premium...

Lots of stats I wanted to use were premium... these were the best I found for free... And we need to help @redseat out...

Not gonna argue about it, but IP is the dumbest category possible. You cannot explain it to me otherwise. It's just terrible.
Everything else looks interesting.

Believe me, I tried to not include it. But there are not many categories that solely benefit SP.

I don't buy that.

1. All cats but S+H effect SP. They don't need IP to "equalize" their value to RP.
2. IP effects RP more. This will come down to RP innings each week (less the 10 starts vs 5 starts game).
3. SP innings are what they are, and are effected in every category.

...but like I said, I'm not going to delay things. I just don't see how leaving IP out makes things worse....

Anyhooo... I'm draft drooling.

don't think we need one... but I have no problem putting it at 30 IP for the 9 pitchers...

either way, that will be a discussion when we get up to it...

Whip seems easier than H/IP andBB/9 but as long as I have a few days to look at players under this scoring I'm fine with whatever.

I like IP tbh.

And have no idea what a half category is.

just means it is not weighed the same... a half category is worth .5 of your H2H total, while a full category is worth 1 point to your H2H total...

Ah, okay, Cool.

Never heard of it before. That's a good wrinkle.
