Like I said before. The Orange hasn't been married to the ACC like the Rose to the PAC and Big 10.
They might shop around.
They might shop around.
The problem is the whole Champions Bowl thing.
Remember that the Big 12 and SEC are building a long term partnership similar to the Rose Bowl.
It would look really bad for the Sugar Bowl to select a 2-loss non champion Oregon over a 1-loss Big 12 CO-champion in the CHAMPIONS BOWL designed for the Big 12/SEC champs.
I don't know if the Sugar Bowl wants to completely piss off its future long term partner.
The Fiesta picks last. It's Big 12 champ vs. whoever is left. You are assuming that another bowl would voluntarily take UCF, which isn't one that I would make.
exactly, ucf was only going to get picked before niu and now that niu is out. ucf is going to the feista.
Believe Mamba said he might not be allowed back in the general board if he is left off his leash. Might need to start a free OcD petition poll.
Seems this board really needs to figure out how to balance the sandy mangina group vs the non self filtering group. There are some way too easily butt hurt and some who really don't know when to stop. Damn shame to lose someone as entertaining as OcD, but then they eventually let Wallace off his leash so there is hope for OcD?

Oregon's not getting in over a one loss Big XII team.
If both Baylor and Okie Jr win tomorrow they're in. It's Orange or bust.
Likely UCF gets dropped to the Fiesta.
The sugar bowl will be the one who benefits the most.
The Fiesta still picks last and its unlikely the sugar bowl will still take UCF.
But the Big 12 might still benefit if the Sugar decides it wants Baylor/Oklahoma instead of Oregon.
We need Texas to win, which would eliminate a 1 loss Baylor team. And Currently Baylor ranked #9, so a loss will for sure drop them behind us.
We need Okie State to beat Oklahoma. This would ensure only 1 Big12 team to go to the BCS. Which would be the Big12 winner.
Problem with Oklahoma beating Okie state is you have essentially currently #16 Oklahoma easily climbing into the top 14 with a win over #6 Okie State. And the BCS bowls would drool to get the Sooner fanbase to their game. Sooners produce tickets and TV revenue.
Still need OU to lose and Tejas to win
big 12 isnt getting two now, i think youre in.....
