To me it's not just the disappointing seasons. It's the disappointing losses.

We haven't been good in a couple decades other than that year with Petteway.....but we didn't used to lose games like those. Lose 1 of them and I'll call it a fluke......lose 3 and I'll call it bad coaching

I like Miles and am rooting for the guy. Seems to me like there is a disconnect between him and his players for several years now. It's apparent in the players' body language and effort on the court

Didn't necessarily like them. Didn't believe they would win. But rooted for them to.

Well no coach from a top tier program is going to leave to come to Nebraska.

It's gonna be some coach who has done work in a non power conference.

So basically we're in the same situation we were in when we hired Timothy.

Tim played the "up and coming" card tonight and let Jeriah Horne take the show away.......trying to get the fans excited about something.

It slightly worked as he's a Freshman and played fantastic. 18 points on 7-9 shooting from the field.

The issues run deeper than our future talent can handle, though. I'm not fooled, Tim. Beat Indiana on the road and then we'll talk. For now, Tim is sitting bare assed on Ghost Peppers.

this. i didn't watch the game. horne bailed them out by hitting 4-6 from 3pt land, the rest of the team was 3 for 16. which was 2-3 from Gill and 1-1 from Watson. Webster 0-5, Jacobsen0-2, Roby 0-2, and McVeigh 0-3. frankly, Jacobsen should be benched if he even attempts another 3, the dude is 3-20 on the year, it's just not worth it for him to attempt one.

and where was the suffocating D, where's the D that held Creighton to 77? Southern shouldn't have scored 76 points imo.

Timmy just doesn't have anything to hang his hat on right now, no offense, no defense, just doesn't seem like the place you should be 5 years into a job.

I wonder if Tim ever thought ahead to the future when Petteway was dominating that year.....I wonder if he ever asked himself how he was going to continue to succeed after Petteway left.

Because honestly, we had no Offense then either. We had a guy who was just on fire and would pull up from 10 feet behind the arc and nail 3's. We also had a 6'11" guy who was abnormal from long range and played out of his ass that year too.

But really, Petteway was kind of a one man show and the Offense revolved around him. We don't have a guy as dynamic as he was anymore, so some thought actually needs to go into how to score buckets.

You better open up your checkbook then. There is zero chance Jay Wright would come to Nebraska. Chip Kelly already makes 6 million + and he isn't coming here either.
