Here's a very likely scenario
12-1 PAC12 champ (USC or Washington)
12-1 BigTen champ (OSU, PSU, or Wisconsin)
12-1 SEC Champ (Georgia or Bama)
12-1 ACC champ (Clemson)
12-1 Big12 champ (OU or TCU)
12-1 Notre Dame (if they don't lose to USC)

So who do you leave out between Penn State, Washington, Clemson, OU, Bama and Notre Dame. All would have multiple wins over top 25 opponents.

ND can only be 11-1.
