Now that we made it to the end - let's estimate how a 12-team play off would have played out.

I love crowning Georgia the Mythical National Champs. I live in the heart of UGA land, and I haven't heard as much bellyaching from a fan base as I've heard from Georgia this season. Many have claimed the national title for Georgia this season as they feel they were cheated from it. They just can't let it go. I actually think they are making it worse for themselves the more they whine about being the best team this season.

What would this 12 team playoff look like if Oregon and UW were in the B1G? UW wouldn't be the #2 seed because that is reserved for conference champs right?

The one thing that I think they will need to fix is getting rid of conference championship games. For example, Michigan and Ohio State would have played each other two times (not counting a possible playoff meeting) every year for the past 3 seasons.

This upcoming season, the two most favored teams to win 2024 according to vegas odds, Georgia and Bama, would play each other 3 times if they both win all their other games (regardless of the results of the games between themselves).

I'd come up with some formula to determine a conference champ, and ditch the conference championship game altogether for the big conferences. I hope they at least consider it for the B10. They probably won't due to the money they get from that game though.

1. opening round, guarantee you the committee would not have OSU playing PSU. switch ole miss and PSU, thats the right matchups.
2. OSU over ole miss. GA. over PSU. not sure FSU would beat liberty.
3. OSU over WA. GA over TX.
4. mich over bama. GA over OSU in 2OTs by 1. but could go either way.
5. GA over mish.

Quarterfinals:
Michigan over Oregon
