If there's a 12-1 SEC winner, 12-1 B1G winner, 12-1 ACC winner, 12-1 Big 12 winner or an 11-1 Notre Dame then no. Any combination of those 4 happening they aren't getting in at 12-1.

First of all, with the shitty kickers they have and some of the issues on offense I'm not sure they reach 12-1, but assuming for a moment they do, I'd give it maybe a 10% chance of being good enough? So possible, but not probable and it really depends more on how the rest of the top 10 shakes out.

Also how they finish 12-1 would impact that greatly. They would have to look very very strong against Stanford on the road, not have any close last second wins against the others, and look very solid against whoever comes out of the South. All of that is REQUIRED to even reach the 10% chance.

The committee will be looking for reasons to exclude them with their shitty OOC and that's probably the biggest roadblock.

I'm really not going to worry about that anymore than I did before they lost a game. Just go fix whatever issues you can and start with winning the next game and see what shakes out.

There's still a lot of football left. As mentioned Washington has to go 12-1 first. But I can't write certain conferences in. As fast as some people want to write certain conferences off. I.e. Wisconsin just as one example.

At this point they have possibly the worst SOS out of the teams on the board. Not just the OOC but the B1G West and their conference schedule is just as bad. We could potentially see Michigan drop from the ranks. Which would mean their only ranked opponent would be in the CCG.

Washington will have ranked opponents on their schedule. Don't get me wrong these are really just scenarios. But logically I can't say they aren't getting in too many potential variables

Right now I think playoff hopes are done. But last year I said they'd have to go undefeated too, so who knows... lot of season and poll shake ups left.

I'm with wizardhawk though. The kicking game will bite them again if they don't figure that shit out. And we have yet to see what they're gonna look like down a DB, and LT on an O-line that was already a weak link.
