So we have a yearly Over/Under game, I think it would be fun to predict certain stats on a week-to-week basis. So what I will do is put up the categories each week. Everyone that wants to participate will make their choices and I will tally up the scores after each game. Each week I will put up a new thread for that game, but I will keep tabs on all scores in a completely different thread. Each correct category is worth 1 point. Picks must be put in 10 minutes before kickoff or they don't count. If you miss 2 weeks in a row, you are out of competition.

Game MVP: RB Reggie Bush, Lions

The Minnesota Vikings were a big-time surprise in 2012, finishing with a 10-6 record after winning a combined nine games the previous two seasons. The Detroit Lions were a major disappointment a year ago, finishing with a 4-12 record after losing their final eight games; this was a playoff team in 2011 with a 10-6 mark. So, of course, the Lions are the pick here to win their first divisional contest since 2011. And the catalyst will be one of their newcomers in the form of running back Reggie Bush. Those who saw the Vikings defense taken apart last year by Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie running back Doug Martin on a Thursday evening at the Metrodome will know exactly what could be in store for the Purple Gang. The Detroit coaching staff will take full advantage of an overaggressive Minnesota defense. Look for Bush to score once on a long screen pass and tack on another touchdown on the ground as Jim Schwartz’s crew gets 2013 off to a good start.
