So, you know for a fact that they are not the least bit interested? I doubt that they're heavily pursuing or anything. But I would bet that Kubiak had him in to see if he can gauge where he's at mentally? There's no shame in a QB needy team looking under every rock that there is.

Did I not say that I am sure they have watched his tape? So yes they have at least looked as they have with every FA QB and draft pick. That is what every franchise should do. What I was saying though is the talk between Kubiak and Manziel was not about him being added to the team. And how do I know this well some very closely connected people to the team have said as much. Yes maybe they could have lied but I have followed them for a long time and so far they have not shied away from reporting what is true compared to what the team wants people to think.

Damn - you beat me to it. Now that Gordon has failed some more tests & is facing further suspension this looks even worse. Jeez - both of these guys should be in rehab or at least at a somewhat remote location - not in freaking Hollywood.

Like I heard mentioned today on TV - a QB - especially a young QB with question marks - needs to pretty much dedicate all of his time to his craft. I find that hard to believe w/ Manziel & even if he is doing this for the most part the perception is different which can't thrill most NFL front offices.

Of course, if Manziel came and led Denver to the playoffs it would just make Elway's legacy that much stronger. Made the playoffs with Tebow. Won the Super Bowl with a geriatric Peyton Manning. Add a Manziel playoff run to that list? Guy would be considered a bigger genius than Belichick.

Actually he is 1/4th of the way through his rookie contract. He just finished his first year so he still has 3 seasons left under a 7th round pick deal.
