I believe that the entire reset will be with another drafted QB. Howell is going to cost them a shit ton of money in either 2024 or 2025 and it might be prudent to have him work on his same contract next year, draft the new guy this offseason, and totally reset the rebuild timeline.
Whom do you go after ?

Thoughts on yesterday from a DAL perspective PDay?

Does the dallas faithful seem to think major changes are coming in DC?

I hope I will be eating mine . My issue is our FO should have known he wasn’t ready
Here I am eating crow ... i went to bat for JDR .... he has had good defenses at other coaching stops. But why all the confusion year after year?

I am ready to move on. I want all the stench of Snyder era gone i.e. coaches and FO people. We have what we have, lets make chicken salad instead of chicken shit.

don't stop...clean house and just maybe free agents will look your way. The team culture still needs addressing IMO

Correct!!

There hasn't been a culture change here in D.C. and that needs to be addressed. When players complained about EB's style I knew that a post about firing Rivera 3 years ago was on target. It's truly too bad that here in D.C. the mantra, even when it's obvious, is "let's take a wait and see/way too early for that, has been paralyzing this franchise for years.

I'll bet that when asked, there's not one poster who can tell what the identity of this team has been in twenty years! (Smartasses excepted)

Probably right, but he's been solid. BSJ has proven to be a solid back up but from the looks of things he's no starter. Might need him.
Cannot say I agree about BSJ. He has also been put in vulnerable positions. I have zero faith in the current coaching staff and until that changes, I am writing off no one. I think BSJ can be a solid #2 corner and we need to find an alpha #1 CB for next season.

Wanna be our GM?

I would write a letter of recommendation?

Sleep on it and let me know.

people around here tend to dig in.

not country, he turns on a single down.

NOW...if we can just get the spear helmets back. That's a solid symbolic move towards the nasty culture problem.

I am a SH fan so I really hope we go with him next season, increase that value, and then trade him away with your shiny new model.

BSJ has a nasty habit of watching WRs run right by him as he's standing flat-footed.

It is a timing thing, would it be great for Howell to work out? Absolutely, but the timing simply isn't in Howell's favor. So, it's not a "shiny new model" but rather practicality considering a rebuild is now in progress.
