I don't recall ever seeing a pitcher get swapped into a fielding slot and coming back in to pitch a few innings later.

BTW- Wood and Strop played LF in a game earlier this year and both came back and pitched I believe.

Maybe, but Wood came in and pitched, then went to left field and then came back in to pitch again. That's crazy. It was like 45 minutes between his pitches. On top of that the inning he was in left he had a definite webgem.

Very true....also forgotten, Wood came into pitch with runners at 2nd and 3rd and nobody out. After walking the first batter he retired the next 3 batters not allowing a run
