If Leonard plays out his deal he's there next year. Durant has an out as well and a Cousins/James/Durant squad scares me a lot more than a Cousins/James/Leonard squad. It sucked how that season ended but when they won 73 with their own draft picks being the stars it was awesome. Winning the 2 after that made up for it to make the team an official dynasty which I never thought would happen. But this move has as much to do with the Lakers as it does with the Warriors. Cousin's in a holding pattern and figures that winning a ring while he's waiting is the best way to go.

Also, lets not forget about all of the businesses around the arena that thrived by him playing there.
