Could the Clippers go after Love?

The Clippers are now a hot attraction due to their talent and GM and coach. Deandre Jordan's contract and others are coming off the books. They could try to add him and make a big three like Miami or they could possibly trade Blake.

This is an option for him to get home and win. Boston, Dallas and Lakers are not the only teams in play on him the days. Doc is a convincing guy and players love him.

This begs the question, is Jordan on the blocks? What is his ceiling?

What if they moved Love to the SF and they played really big? That could be sick if they could get it to work just like in HOU with 2 Cs.

Botslayer thats what I am thinking. Love is not a defensive big, and he does play more like a 4.

They should have the salary to pull this off once Jordan and another contract expire next year. Maybe they send picks to Minnesota as a sign and trade to get his Bird rights?

Then they can go man, I can only think of a handful of SFs that will exploit Love at that position. Those players are going to exploit every one at that position though.

Love would get torched on D trying to guard SFs. He's not quick enough to handle them on the perimeter. Plus no one to defend the paint with Jordan gone.

I was operating under the dream scenario that Jordan was still there.

If I can not have those 3 I do not take both Love and Griffin, I take Griffin over Love.

With those 3 Griffin can take the quicker of the Fs. It wouldn't be perfect but their O should more than make up for it.
