Honestly I wouldn't have much of an issue with it if Alabama played a team the same caliber or better and defeated them but I never will understand the logic of moving up a team who is on a bye week over a team who played and won their game rather easily

Being undefeated doesn't always mean much when you're 4 and 0 against 4 high school teams.

Yeah, but you have to see why there's concern.. the #1 team in the nation shouldn't have to go to the 4th quarter to beat NC state. I can understand if FSU made a ton of mistakes and looked outta sink, but that wasn't the case. NCS pretty much did what ever they wanted for most of the game and was probably one FSU mistake away from getting the win.

I agree with this but still doesn't give any reason why a team on a bye week should pass a team who won on the road by 2 tds.

As I said above, this still doesn't give the coaches any logical reason to put a team who was on a bye week above FSU. It makes no sense.

You shouldn't move up in any polls when you're on a bye week when the team(s) in front of you actually won their game

Why does it matter right now? If FSU is one of the 4 best teams in the country then they'll be in the playoffs at the end of the year. This is week 5, still a lot of football to be played.

Actually if you look at the scoring it was minus the 1st quarter debacle. Allow 24pts in the 1st and then allow only 17 while scoring 49 pts in those last 3 quarters.


Personally I have no problem with them being moved down.

Yeah. NC State exposed some holes, but I did assume the rankings would hold due to the bye weeks.

I honestly don't give a shit as long as Bama keeps winning and stays in the top 4. I don't see why anyone else should care either.
