Went out tonight for the first time this year.

North wind was fucking freezing my holes shut every 30 seconds and also freezing my line to my rod......

Got 2 nice bluegills, and I dropped a huge crappie back in the hole as I was grabbing it to take it off me jig......

We just went out for about 30 minutes just to get our feet wet. Can't wait to get a whole day of fishing in soon.

I have the suit and boots to handle 200 below temps or whatever the company claims.......but the ice hut is me dad's, and we only use that when he says it be okay en sech.

If it's over 30 degrees we will usually never use the hut. Dad is extremely anal about not getting the fucking thing dirty and all that shit.

I myself am not rich enough yet to buy everything that I want.....but most avid ice fishermen would drool over the shit that my dad owns....

His auger is so quiet you don't even know the thing is running unless you're standing right next to it.
