Bowl games tend to tell the story about what conference team played a weak schedule....and are entertaining to watch. Really don't see a down side on this one.

Just because a Team matchups poorly with another team has nothing to do with the Schedule they played. Also injuries happen, and team improve or dont over the course of a year.

You think the NFL would sit that as a negative because these guys are more self centered and probably more likely to sit out preseason games/practices because they feel they deserve a better contract. But nope, the NFL doesn't care.

I think it is the opposite. There is so much time to prepare. Much harder to game plan with 1 week of notice.
