Is there even 5,000 people at this bowl game today? Hell is there even 3,000 people at this bowl game.

It's football, and anyone trying to reduce the amount of CFB games can kiss my white ass.

So I guess you're glued to the TV set watching Central Michigan and Tulsa right now.

I don't think the NCAA will ever deny a new Bowl.
If it's economically viable for a Bowl, then so be it.

It may get to the point where there is no minimum number of wins to even go to a bowl.
And that's ok.

There was a new bowl freeze just recently.

Austin was trying to get its own bowl game.

I just can't remember the details of why, other than we're at the point where too often 5-win teams have to fill in slots.

If we aren't playing in a playoff game, I'd rather not go to a bowl game at all.

You tell me with a straight face that one and done's are okay in college basketball and in the same breath wave your finger at a guy for skipping a bowl game.

How about all the guys who come out as Juniors? If we're using the same logic is that not TEN TIMES more deplorable
One and done are one of the reasons the NBA is a garbage watered down league. The NBA is absolute fucking garbage compared to the 80s-90s.

It is playing in the background, yes.

You're probably still bitter there's no Blue-Gray Classic any more.

But that doesn't stop you from walking around with your "Proud to be Gray" sign.

A lot of people question Jordan being the GOAT based on this... That and there were expansion teams which watered it down.

Jordan isn't the GOAT. I will get a lot of flack for this, but Kareem is the GOAT.

They don't matter to me this year because ESPN/Sling TV pissed me off an I canceled it all.

Come playoff time I'm going to do a 7 day trial in my wifes name.

Then they can all kiss my ass again.

I can dig that. All I'm saying is look at what college football has become and look at what they teach these kids. Cash is king. When you look back there were fewer bowls in the past and not sure about the rules for agents talking to players back then either.

Unfortunately, other teammates are thinking the same thing and are mostly playing to enhance their draft stock. Other are going through the motions to not get hurt.

It's a business and that's all on the NFL teams out there that preach it everyday. "It's not personal.. this is a business."

But I blame agents for getting in these players' ears more than anything.
It's not agents, but for sure social media has helped to create this bullshit.

Kids were exploited for their schools gain back in the day as well. They always had money on the line and have never been paid for their time at this level. Only thing that has changed is the mentality of being comfortable screwing others and/or questioning authority much more than they did back then.

That school that made millions off of you gave you the stage and put people around you to get you to where you are about to make millions yourself. Play a series. Ask not to be in the most risky of plays. Don't take kickoff/punts if you normally do those things. Lots of ways if minimizing what is already a rare problem to begin with, but come out a week or so before your bowl and let the world know you aren't going to stand up for your team in a game that means something to them?

We all get why they are doing it. But to the fans and his teammates they have to look at them as being giant selfish pansies.

"You guys sucked so bad you only got me to (insert second tier bowl here) and I ain't risking my payday for that garbage. Fuck you and good luck next year even making a bowl without me. "

Signed at least two RB's this year.

Be interesting to see what todays NBA AND NFL looked like without a few of the garbage franchises for sure but lets not get stupid here, Jordan craps on everyone else in the history of the NBA..

Just heard this in 1996-97 there were 18 bowl games. Today there are 40. That is the reason that bowls have lost a lot of their luster.

well, maybe if the lower tier bowls get laughed at and put down, with no attendance, maybe it'll be reversed.

If not, I'm fully supportive of Trump declaring to the NCAA there will be no bowls for teams that have a record less than 8-4. :thumb:

Bowl games matter a lot. I hoard as many vacation days for the end of the year as I can simply so I can drink beer and watch bowl games. I don't care if it's the Jimmy Dean Labrador Tomahawk Harmonica Bowl, it's college football and that's the greatest gift of the season.

Some Bowl Games matter more (I hate ohio state), but they all matter. Trying to figure out what message the OP is trying to deliver.
