They are claiming Brock has a knee injury now. If that is true then maybe that was the final straw that led to the decision to start Manning. Could be bullshit too.

Could be. Who knows? He has been pretty banged up with shoulder and rib injuries.

Everybody knows that Peyton wasn't a fit for the offense. It took them weeks to get on the same page and start running things that Peyton was comfortable with. Osweiler is a much better fit for it, but Peyton deserves this shot. Hopefully he won't have to do too much. With the best defense, 2 top flight WRs, 2 solid RBs, I don't think Peyton has to be great to win. Just don't make the big mistakes.

But at the same time, I'm kind of hoping Peyton does something special. Then maybe I'll have a leg to stand on again when it comes to the Peyton and Brady argument.

Despite the comments I've read here, Manning needs to start. That's why he's here. The Broncos made their bed and you gotta stick with Peyton until this season ends. I honestly think he gives us the best chance to win.
