Penalty shots are the thing that kept me not liking this sport for most of my adult life. Same with Hockey. Any sport that has you do something different than the normal game to settle a contest is flawed IMO.

I don't see how penalty kicks is any dumber than OT in college football. I don't mind the shootout in hockey during the regular season, but if they did it in the playoffs it would be pretty stupid.

I feel like after 120 minutes they should allow possibly 3-4 more substutions and possible allow players to re enter the game.

What about removing the off sides penalty? I'd rather see just about any other solution to PK's.
