I have to say, this lineup deadline daily-tomorrow Sucks. Find out J.J. Hardy is out of my lineup, but if I pick someone up, he's on my team for tomorrow but not today.

Sorry. I do feel your pain though. I felt it all last year.........

Drives me up the wall about Yahoo. I get home at 4 in the morning and set my lineups, but anybody I pick up is not eligible until the next day. My Espn daily lets you make changes up til 10 minutes before the first game of the day. Yahoo sets the clock at around 3 in the morning.

I owe you an appology then as well. I used the setting that you and Rev are talking about last year, in hopes of getting Rev to join and finish out a league last year.


And, I spent the whole year regretting it.

Maybe I will alternate years, to make everyone happy from time to time?

So all these years I was blaming Yahoo when it was really you.




Yahoo is a lot better then the CBS leagues, and was better then most other choices five years ago. Other then this issue I would still say Yahoo is better then ESPN.

Yep. All me. And, I can't tell if this is a lineup setting thing ( I do mine the night before ), or, and east coast / west coast thing with the time of day mattering more to one side than the other.

I just know this way works a lot better for me, and, now I see a lot worse for you and Rev. If I get a few others to chime in like this, I will make the change for sure. I like the "advantage" such as it is, but would not want to continue it if I am the only one that likes it. There are 10 people to consider, NOT just me.

I don't like it, but I learned to work around it last year. I just had to look a little harder and figure out who was tomorrows starting pitcher.

I reject most trades.

But then again, I kind of like to "win" the trades I do, so,....there is that.

Dammit, Picked up Henderson Alvarez to stream today, and it won't register until Monday. This is not a fun setting.

It just takes some getting used to, already picked up my pitchers for tomorrow. Plus added Jose Reyes and Cole Hamels this week along with Jay Bruce today.

Going forward, can you scale back the trade waiting period to one day? Right now it's 2. I accepted a trade today but today doesn't count as one of those days, Thursday and Friday are the two days so the trade goes through Saturday. Unfortunately you have the league settings set for daily/tomorrow. That means that while the trade goes through on Saturday I won't have use of those players until Sunday.

In essence, If I make a trade on Wednesday, I don't get that player to use until Sunday (4 days later). Cutting it back to 1 day would ease the waiting time.

Sure, I guess so. You are the only person I have ever heard from that has issue on this, but, let me make that change. As hardly anyone ever trades with me, I guess I never saw or felt the impact.
