Best options for the Jets imo ( being realistic )

A. Stick with Wilson
B. Trade for Winston
C. Sign Wentz
D. Trade for Heinicke
E. Trade for Brissett .

Stick with Wilson and trade for one of the above depending on what those teams are asking for.

C. Sign Wentz
Were you able to type that with a straight face?

When you roll with Wilson into week 1, 'Stick with Wilson' should be the answer. When its just week 2, its next man up.

With Rodgers out, does his salary still count in the cap calculation?

That could make guys like Foles or Fitzmagic very attractive.

Stick with Wilson over pretty much all of those options, even though we've seen enough of Zach to know he really isn't the answer. People dropping names like Tebow and Kaepernick need to have their head examined. Winston, Brissett, Heineke are average back-ups. Winston maybe less than the others. Wentz is just awful and that would be a disaster. I did hear one interesting take but I can't see any way in hell they could swing it and that is to try and trade with Dallas for Cooper Rush. Can't see Jerry going for that.
