You got to love what you hear, we played a lot of freshmen once again....as these players mature it is only going to lead to good things on both sides of the ball.
If Henry and Richardson can come in and play from day one, our defense looks pretty good on paper.....next thing is to stop someone on third down...lol
It has been painful to watch our true freshmen get thrown to the wolves the past two seasons. But, I agree… the kids should show signs of growth and improvement the next couple of years.
I keep referring to Baylor, but I think they set a good example. They have built a program there. Baylor had some god-awful defense for quite some time. Last year, their defense improved from a poor start to a pretty good finish. And, it carried over to this year. Baylor's defense was under appreciated.
Yeah agreed, but I think the overall season Baylor played harder teams and were more impressive in those games....Auburn beats Bama then all of the sudden they are the best team in the nation..lol
I also give Briles credit for keeping that offense going after losing some major players, going into next year I could see them as a top 10 teams with all the returners.
I think they were both worthy,,,,but A&M and Georgia were both over rated either by performance or injuries.. A&M was 2-4 against winning teams, two wins were Rice and Ole Miss.
