Just goes to show ya even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Makes it better knowing they're probably gonna be the ones to end the SECs streak too. So we got that going for us.

and we all know you'd love to be in auburn's shoes right now.

also, lol at losing to a blind squirrel.

It is pretty embarrassing. Never said 3 in a row would be easy.

alabama hasn't won back to back sec titles since the 70s.

lol dynasty.

But have more NC in the last 4 years than awwbun has in it's entire existence. Don't see that changing anytime soon either. Don't get it twisted, awwbun is still second rate in the state. Something else that's not changing anytime soon.

if auburn claimed them like bama, we'd claim 2004, 1993, 1983, and 1913 as well.

if auburn is second rate in the state, i guess alabama is third tier this year.

just read the first page. everyone calling the post a troll post...

how so?

he made some good points. i don't think of alabama has being a choke program... but they have lost a couple games due to awful special teams play in the last few years, they got embarrassed by utah in the sugar bowl,

they've made good in some national title games, but they have also choked away some big games.

Auburn owns the biggest choke job in college football history. From NC's in 2010 to 3-9 in 2012. Largest drop-off in history.

Maybe we should claim 1966 (only undefeated team and defending two time champion yet didn't win) and 1977
(Notre Dame jumps from #5 to #1 over Alabama after beating #1 Texas. Shit happens! There's more too.

So Alabama has been shafted too. Auburns 1993 season; they still would have had to win the SECCG(would have been big underdogs) and a NC game. Auburn loves probation years, don't they? Won 1957 NC on probation. 2004 was bad luck. Believe me y'all been paid back with your luck in 2010 and this year and more!!! 1983? Very similar to Alabama's 1977 season being jumped. Oh well! That was the system. 1913? Whatever!

I've seen you post how Auburn has done since you went to school there and try to limit comparisons to those years. It appears to really bother you when Auburn gets no respect and Alabama is treated like royalty with a few other teams. First, there was football played before your little snotty nose went to school. Also, try to do something most every year. Auburn is notorious for doing great one year and falling off for 5 to 8 then another good year then off another 6 or 7 and so on and so on. they have never been able to put together the championships and consistency the top tier teams have done. I actually think Auburn will be good next year too with returners but then back to normal and just average for another 6 or so years.

Third tier? Seriously? You won a game in miracle fashion. Alabama did not execute, played one of it's worst games, was @ Auburn, had a ticky tack holding call negate a first down on Auburn's 5 with three minutes to go and leading by 7. When you read that you're probably still trying to figure out how you won. Try to win with just a little humility. Try to appreciate the opportunity in front of your team!

Alabama would beat Auburn 8 times out of 10 on a neutral field. Auburn is in the #2 position so will play for NC but don't get that confused with who the best team is! Congratulations on the win and all the spoils that goes with it but you don't have to become a spoiled brat throwing out silly, ridiculous posts.

11 years ago is when I decided to attend Auburn. For the 10-12 or so years prior to that, I was merely a fan.

History is history blah blah blah.

How's it feel to look up and see Auburn in the title game? LOL

You got that right, it is and we own history in the SEC. Whats funny is Cow U has been a school longer, but cant seem to find its ass with both hands once it gets on a football field except once every blue moon. Speak to that and explain it away without using excuses if you can. Why does Bama have such a rich history of SEC titles, Wins, Titles...and so on, but Auburn cant seem to show anything for its longer history but a weak attempt at showing up on the field and mostly being an also ran.

Thought the blind squirrel reference fit perfectly, since that appears to be what you have going in this instance and your entire history.

When you make Eagle on holes 9 11 and 12 it is kind of OK to miss a putt to score a bogey.

Decent analogy. Bama is 72-8 over the past 6 seasons. 4 of those losses were to the National Champion or end season ranked #2. Another 2 were to a top 5 team. #7 was on the road to 11-2 #8 Cotton Bowl champion LSU.#8 was on the road to #17 SEC East champion South Carolina. I fail to see a single choke.

Most everyone in the nation knows that Auburn beat a poorly-prepared and sloppy Alabama team in the Iron Bowl. Yes, they beat them fair and square, but that Bama team was as flat as a pancake.

I don't care about a couple of questionable calls, because that evening, Bama was on its ass for most of the game, and the fault for that rests with the players and coaches. Auburn took advantage of that, and it cost Bama another shot at a crystal football.

Why were they sloppy and unprepared? Don't have a clue, but its painfully obvious that they were, and so the loss was deserved.

How many out there (including Auburn fans) really think that were the two teams to face each other again next week that Auburn would win? Be honest with yourselves.

lol dynasty.

Has Auburn?

Bama has 23 to Auburns 8.

Only Florida and Tennessee can lay claim to winning the SEC back to back since 1980. The 70's, aside from a year or two, was owned by Alabama. Truth be known, Alabama won as many in the 70's as Auburn has in its existence.

Here's one for you to mull over. How many times has Auburn won BACK to BACK SEC titles or done the same in National titles?

Bama can lay claim to dont so on several occasions. Got your dynasty for you in Tuscaloosa and the Blind Squirrel is on the other side of the state hoping to find its nuts.

you may want to check alabama's drop off from 1999 to 2000. from SEC champions and preseason #3 to 3-8.

that's worse than going from #1 to 8-5 to 3-9, especially when the following year they rebound to go 12-1 while alabama rebounded to the independence bowl.

lol at you implying that alabama has won 15 BCS, AP, or UPI titles.

I think he was more implying that no matter what form you use, Alabama has more than Auburn on any scale.

9 works fine in this argument and that falls into the BCS, API and UPI category...

Difference being, you screwed yourself by hiring a coach everyone knew was not right, we had help from the NCAA. You have heard of them before right?
