too bad the facts don't support your version of reality.I understand your love of the Pats and could appreciate it, so I wouldnt expect you to agree that it is a serious problem that most teams could start 0-2 and start worrying about their postseason chances, and the Pats could start 0-7 and still win the AFC East
Howevah, how the Pats play against the rest of the league is not evidence that they would fare as well, that they would be guaranteed Homefield advantage every single season, if they had to deal with the weekly grind of a tough division, rather than having 5 or 6 virtual bye weeks....There is a trickle effect of when you barely break a sweat within your division, how well and how fresh you can be against other opponents, in comparison to other teams
Thanks for your time

In the past 10 seasons, the Pats regular season record is 126-34, with a winning percentage of roughly 79%.
In those 10 seasons, their division record has been 6-0 (twice) , 5-1 (twice), and 4-2 (six times) . Their winning percentage within their division is also roughly 79%.
Bitch, suck a bag of dicks, i just broke down the real deal for ya
You broke down a make-believe scenario that you could never prove one way or another. You're a fucking idiot
No, I don't think so. The Pat's record against their division is essentially the same is their overall record. Your claim that the Pats do well in the regular season because they beat up on their division rivals isn't supported by the facts. A more plausible conclusion would be that the Pat's division rivals tend to do poorly in the regular season because they have to play the Pats twice a year.So they've absolutely eviscerated the shitty teams in their division
I think we agree

Leave the shit alone. My OCD would explode without the divisible symmetry.
I would change a couple of the divisions that teams were in, but 8 by 4 is perfect for 32 teams.
I would like to see divisions more staggered by region more so, instead of just because of the rivalry.
I would just make 5 moves (3) - AFC - (2) NFC.
Baltimore to the AFC East
Miami to the AFC South
Indianapolis to the AFC North
Dallas to the NFC South
Carolina to the NFC East
Make it more regional with teams out of place currently due to "rivalries".
Agree...MIA makes no sense in the AFCE logistically, or DAL in the NFCE, but Jones will never let go of the north east ties.
Having 8 DIVs does lend itself every so often of a 8-8 or 9-7 DIV winner hosting a playoff game but for the most part I'm not trying to change a whole lot.
Say you get transferred to DAL and you like the Bengals, you should be able to buy the Bengals games that are not normally being shown in DAL without buying a season long pass for all 32 teams.
The NFL is saying spend $250 or whatever on the Sun NFL tkt or tough shit...stupid.
Most divisions have fluctuation and competitive balance, but we could call this the "Patriot" change, cause it's a bit silly that you can pencil them into the SB almost every season because the Dolphins/Jets and Bills are their main competition
We've provided @DirtDirtDirt these numbers multiple times. His bias against everything NE just won't allow him to see it. For him it's much easier to talk nonesense. That's what he does and he's very very good at it.I just looked up Brady's regular season record vs all the divisions.
AFCE 71-19 79%
AFCN 24-5 83%
AFCS 23-5 82%
AFCW 18-12 60%
NFCE 13-3 81%
NFCN 14-2 87%
NFCS 9-3 75%
NFCW 10-5 66%
So the AFCW Denver and KC are his biggest competition and 2 div in the AFC and 2 in the NFC they fair better than the weak AFCE

Already been debunked. That would make a ton of sense If those teams beat up on the rest of the league, amd weren't perennial sub 500 teams

Not biased towards NE just mad that Brady gets the credit more than his ex DC Belichick. BB couldn't win in the AFCE before Brady, lost the Div in 08 when Brady was out and missed playoffs and went 1-1 vs AFCE last year w/o Brady one being a shutout at home to Buffalo??? BB is 4-3 vs Buffalo w/o Brady and 30 -5 w/o TB
