There's no poll...

But I gotta go with Eddie, Andre, and Jarrett. My 4 and 5 would be Josh Morgan and Danny, but Danny just didn't catch enough TDs

I put Danny, Andre and Eddie.

I still have not forgiven Wilford for dropping that 2 pt conversion against Miami in '01, lol.

Man...Where we spoiled on WR's from 2003-2007 or what???? Only "Stiff" Sean and "The other knucklehead" Vick could've fucked it all up with the Crew of Morgan, Royal, Harper, Hyman, and Clowney.

I think Clowney, Harper and even Hyman were talented enough to be starters on ALOT of D1 teams during this period. If I remember correctly, Clowney was one of the first "under the radar" prospects that we landed from Florida, and he turned out to be pretty good. He has had a fairly successful NFL career too (minus advertising his AIDS test results). The same could be said for Davis, Royal, and Morgan. Conversely, If it wasn't for those guys (Hyman/Clowney/Harper), I would imagine Royal and/or Morgan would be at the top of the records list with DC and JB. I had to go with Boykin over Coale (because of TDs and the infamous hands), Royal over Harper (because of the speed) and Freeman because he was Deshazo's only target and had a lot of TDS, he has also been the best VT WR to play in the league IMO..Danny Coale and Morgan barely missed my cut..

Antonio Freeman

Super Bowl, XXXI caught the go ahead touchdown, which was the longest super bowl passing TD at the time, since passed.

The following year, Super Bowl XXXII, caught 9 passes for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 31-24 loss to the Denver Broncos. His 230 all-purpose yards in the game was the third highest total in Super Bowl history.

November 2000, the best catch on monday night football, in overtime, to win the game.

In his ten NFL seasons, Freeman caught 477 passes for 7,251 yards, gained 1,007 yards returning kickoffs and punts, and scored 61 touchdowns. His teams made the playoffs in seven of his NFL seasons. He appeared in four NFC Championship Games and two Super Bowls. He ranks sixth all-time on the Green Bay Packers receivers list with 6,651 yards on 431 catches. Freeman had three 1,000 yard receiving seasons in his career.

At Va Tech, He also returned 63 punts for 651 yards.

This man is currently 4th in voting here. WTF?

I agree Rocky, but I think his accomplishments at VT have taken a bit of a backseat to some of the more recent receivers. There are so many good ones, I don't think there is a wrong answer.

Trying to put together a list of tight ends. I have Jeff King, Dragerbomb, Boone, Andre Smith, and Willis (just for lack of anyone else). Anyone else have anymore ideas on TE's??

i think a lot of people, myself included, are voting based on their time at tech, not their NFL accolades

Is it too late for LT, or too early for Kyle Chung?

If that were true, then why ignore his leading 22 touchdowns? The next WR has only 18.

I think its just short memory, or too young to know.

Freeman was pretty good at VT, IMO... was in my top 3.

As for TEs, I think we'll all agree that King takes that honor. Do we even need a poll? ;)
