Yanks won series vs Toronto, Angels, Stros, and now Indians during this stretch.

The only shit team they played in this stretch was the Twins

Yup, two good starts and kept us in both games.....His ERA shrinks to 6.67 and his WHIP to 1.926.....It's a start....

Also, the Neil Walker experiment should be over.....I'd rather put in Johnnie Walker after he spent the entire day at the distillery....

Have to think he will be DFA'd when one of those hitters on the DL are good to go

Surprisingly, Gausman wasn't to blame for the loss tonight. I don't know what more needs to be shown to Dumpster Dan to prove that this team needs to just start the fire sale now.

It is pretty amazing the Yanks have gone on this run considering Stanton, Gardner, Hicks, Walker and Sanchez have been pretty terrible so far this season. Honestly Didi is the only one that's gotten off to an unexpectedly better start than normal.

Why does BUCK SHOWALTER still have a job?
I was calling for his head 2 years ago. His style fools the locals. I fell for it for a few seasons as well.

His stupid freaking "free swinging, no walks, no bunts, no stolen bases" offense is absurdly bad coaching.

3-0 with the bases loaded??? Fuck it, swing for the fences at something 3 feet outside of the zone into a double play.
The manager wont care. He will probably praise your power swing instead.

165 strikeouts for every player as long as they can eke out 20 homeruns is fine with Buck
And the few guys who tried to get on base, hit opposite field, bunt, or draw walks he ran out of town.

It was dumb then when guys were 27 or 28.
Now it looks downright awful now all those guys are in their mid 30s.

their offense over the last few years has been based around guys who were never known for taking walks (Adam Jones, Mark Trumbo, Machado (though he's walked 19 times already)). Not sure if you can attribute those players inability to draw walks to Showalter when they struggled to draw walks before playing under him.
