  Marte wasted no time in his return after missing five weeks due to a non-displaced rib fracture, smacking a one-out double off lefty Martín Pérez in the opening frame. He was limited to just three at-bats in the rain-shortened six-inning affair at Fenway Park. The 32-year-old outfielder has been exceptional, hitting .311/.411/.492 with 15 runs scored, two homers, eight RBI and three steals in 73 plate appearances this season.

  Giancarlo Stanton went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts on Friday in his return to the Yankees' lineup.​

  It may take Stanton a few games to get back up to speed, especially since he didn't go on a minor-league rehab assignment, after missing nearly two weeks due to a quad strain. The 31-year-old slugger was off to an excellent start prior to the injury, so there's no reason for fantasy managers to panic.

crazy to see Marte with such a high walk rate, even if it isn't a large sample size. his career walk rate is 5.0% and prior to this season, it was never any higher than 6.1%. It's 11.0%.
