Kershaw does seem a class act, and I would hate to see his career get cut short.

Ya gotta wonder, though - his delivery is anything but "fluid". Makes one wonder what that does for his longevity.

I have read some nice things about Kershaw and his wife spending time doing relief work in Africa. So refreshing from the rampant and often over the top narcissism in professional sports. It really makes it hard for me to hate the guy. Until he dons the blue uniform, that is.

Still, any long term loss of Kershaw would be bad for the SF-LA rivalry. It would be like losing MadBum. (No jinx! Knock on wood!) It is more satisfying to beat the Dogs at full strength. But any way we beat them is fine with me.

BTW, I hope for a total collapse and a 15 game lead when all is said and done. Ten games is just too generous for me.
